A compact 35mm wide electronic earth fault relay for the detection and indication of insulation faults in grounded Voltage systems but does not disconnect. The IL5882 is used with a core balance CT to maintain electrical plant before a fault occurs. A decrease in insulation can be detected early by the IL5882 via the pre warning contacts.
