Analog and digital – Input / output modules
Input and output modules are used to extend digital and analog inputs and outputs in switchgear when the available number of I/Os in a protection relay is not (any more) sufficient. They record either analog or binary signals from limit switches, push-buttons and sensors. They also control the activation of actuators, for example. In addition, the inputs can be read individually via the Modbus RTU interface and the output relays can be set individually.

Insulation fault location system RR 5886 / RR 5887
Insulation fault detection with Modbus RTU
In extensive industrial plants, the localization of insulation faults can be a cost-intensive and time-consuming process. The insulation fault location system VARIMETER EDS, consisting of the test current generator RR 5886 and insulation fault locator RR 5887, locates insulation faults quickly and reliably in complex unearthed AC/DC networks. The ND 5017 external current transformers operate independently of each other, calibrate themselves and are easy to connect to the measuring channels of the RR 5887 insulation fault locator. The Modbus RTU interface can be used to read insulation fault current values from the connected devices.

Smart motorstarter UG 9256
Now also for the power range from 90 to 750 W
The smart motorstarter UG 9256 of the MINISTART series offers up to 6 functions in a compact enclosure with a width of only 22.5 mm. It is available in power levels from 90 W to 750 W or 550 W to 4 kW. The UG 9256 combines the functions of reversing, soft start, soft run-out and protection of 3-phase motors in one device. This simplifies installation considerably and saves additional space in the switch cabinet.

Hybrid relay IK 3070/200
Hybrid relay – perfectly combined
The hybrid relay IK 3070/200 perfectly combines the advantages of robust relay technology with wear-resistant semiconductor technology. When switched on, the semiconductor first switches on at zero crossing of the AC voltage. A few milliseconds later, the relay contact takes over the continuous current and ensures low power dissipation. When switching off, the current is first transferred from the relay to the semiconductor, then it switches off at the current zero crossing point. In this way, surge voltages and currents in the load circuit are minimized and even the slightest electromagnetic interference is caused.

Safety switch and key transfer system
Guard lock with integrated command and indication functions
The safety switch with guard lock of the SAFEMASTER STS series offers the possibility of integrating up to three command and indication functions. This means that control signals such as emergency stop or acknowledgement of the safety door can be triggered directly at the safety switch. A separate module for control devices is no longer required. In addition to emergency stop buttons, illuminated buttons, pushbuttons or selector switches are also available. Due to its very slim design, the robust and attractive fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) enclosure with stainless steel head can be mounted on safety fences in a space-saving manner. The optional M23 plug connectors ensure fast set-up and reduce the wiring work to a minimum.
