Multifunctional measuring relay UG 9400
Multifunctional measuring relay with Modbus RTU

The multifunctional measuring relay UG 9400 of the VARIMETER PRO series combines up to nine measuring functions in an enclosure with only 22.5 mm width. The device is equipped with a Modbus RTU interface. The fieldbus connection saves wiring and offers extensive diagnostic options. Depending on requirements, the UG 9400 monitors the three-phase mains simultaneously for over- / undervoltage, voltage asymmetry, over- / undercurrent, cos phi, active, apparent and reactive power, frequency and phase sequence.

Insulation monitor RL 5889
Standard-compliant insulation monitoring

The insulation monitor RL 5889 of the VARIMETER IMD series is a standard-compliant solution for insulation monitoring of modern IT systems according to IEC/EN 61557-8. The device can be used in the most flexible way for AC, DC and AC/DC systems. The setting of the parameters and the switching values is done by simple and operator friendly rotary switches on the front of the device. This can be protected against unwanted manipulation with the sealable transparent cover. The operating status is indicated user friendly via a multicolour LED.

Insulation monitor RN 5897/021
Insulation monitoring with Modbus RTU

An unplanned standstill of machines and plants due to insulation faults can have serious consequences. By detecting such faults in unearthed systems (IT systems) at an early stage, the insulation monitor RN 5897/021 of the VARIMETER IMD series prevents failures of electrical systems and thus ensures higher operational and plant safety. Via the Modbus RTU interface, the device can be parameterised and measurement and diagnostic data can be evaluated centrally.

Sensorless standstill monitor UG 9146
Sensorless standstill monitoring

The sensorless standstill monitor UG 9146 of the VARIMETER series is used for sensorless monitoring of electric motors for standstill. This means sensors such as encoders or proximity switches are not required. The standstill monitor measures the induced voltage of the coasting motor. If the induced voltage approaches 0, this means motor standstill for the device and the output relay is activated. With a width of only 22.5 mm, the UG 9146 can be accommodated in the control panel even under tight space conditions allowing easy retrofitting.

Latching relay UG 8851
Electronic latching relay with forcibly guided contacts

The latching relay UG 8851 is designed with a wide AC/DC nominal voltage range and is now also available in the contact version with seven NO contacts and one NC contact. Whereas up to now a construction width of 45 mm or more was required for eight contacts in the customer’s application, the latching relay UG 8851 significantly reduces the space required in the switch cabinet by using the bistable relay OB 5623. The new OB 5623 combines bistable switching behaviour with mechanically forcibly guided contacts in accordance with the DIN EN 61810-3 standard. The advantages of such a relay are obvious: energy efficiency paired with reliable diagnosis of the switching position.

Flasher relay MK 7851N
8 time ranges in one device

Flasher relays are used on cranes, wind power systems as well as for airfield lighting where they control position lighting. The control of malfunction notifications on machines, lighting, fans, etc. is an additional task of these devices. The flasher relay MK 7851N of the MINITIMER series offers the generation of flashing sequences with flexible settings. 8 switchable time ranges from 0.05 s ... 300 h and a large voltage range AC/DC 12 ... 240 V make the relay be a universally applicable time module.

Timers IK 9906 and IK 9962
Wide voltage range at minimum width

The timers IK 9906 (On-delay) and IK 9962 (Off-delay) offer a simple possibility to realise time functions in plants without much programming effort. The time functions and time ranges are configured quickly and easily via the rotary switches on the front. With a compact width of only 17.5 mm, our timers are also suitable for use where space in the distribution cabinet is limited.

Solid-state relays PK 9260 and PI 9260
Solid-state relays now with UL approval

The solid-state relays PK 9260 and PI 9260 of the POWERSWITCH series stand out for their wear-free and noiseless switching and are now available with UL approval. They are suitable in applications with high switching frequencies and are able to safely and reliably withstand repeated loads as well as high temperatures. Due to the short reaction time, high peak current compatibility and high EMC resistance, the shock- and vibration-resistant solid-state relays are perfect for many applications, for example, heating and cooling systems, process controls, plastic injection machines, motor valves and many other applications.

Split current transformer ND 5014
Quick mounting, easy to retrofit

The new split current transformers ND 5014 from the VARIMETER RCM series are suitable for residual current monitoring in conjunction with the residual current monitor IL 5882, for both alternating and pulsating direct currents in earthed mains. By opening the current transformers, they can be easily mounted on the conductors of the output to be monitored, thus enabling simple installation in existing plants or retrofitting measures. The split mechanism eliminates the need to cut or disconnect the conductors, thus minimizes costly interruptions to operation.

Phase monitor MH 9352
Variable 3-phase mains monitoring

The phase monitors MH 9352 of the VARIMETER series are suitable for monitoring 3-phase mains. The phase monitor MH 9352/001 monitors the mains in a wide voltage range of 3 AC 85 ... 550 V for overvoltage, undervoltage and phase sequence. The variant /003 monitors 3-phase mains for undervoltage and phase sequence. The nominal voltage of the mains to be monitored can be set by rotary switch. The phase monitor MH 9352/005 monitors the 3 phases in mains for undervoltage as well as correct and incorrect phase sequence and provides an output relay for each.

Phase monitor BD 9080/003
Reliable monitoring of three-phase mains

With the phase monitor BD 9080/003 of the VARIMETER PRO series, three-phase mains can reliably and continuously be monitored. The device is suitable for monitoring the supply mains of mobile mining machines or of trains. Voltage, asymmetry, phase failure and phase sequence are detected and evaluated. The phase monitor does not require an additional auxiliary voltage. The internal operating voltage of the device is generated directly from the measuring voltage.

Speed and standstill monitor UH 5947
More than just drive monitoring

The speed and standstill monitor UH 5947 of the SAFEMASTER S series covers the combined application of encoder signals and PNP or NPN sensors. An alternative device varaint allows the use of NAMUR sensor technology. The device can be operated via the 4 buttons on the front and the LCD display, thus enabling simple parameterisation. For example, the selection of the encoder, speed limits per operating mode and delay times can be flexibly adapted to your application.

Three-stage enabling switch RE 6909
Safe and ergonomic operation

Machines and plants are subject to operating modes and situations in which it is necessary to stay in hazardous areas. With the new three-stage enabling switch RE 6909 of the SAFEMASTER series, persons are safeguarded during commissioning, maintenance or set-up for a job. The three-stage functionality is important here. Only an actively actuated middle position gives consent to a higher-level safe control. If the operator releases the enabling switch or pushes it through (panic function), he withdraws his consent and thus triggers the safetyrelated shutdown. Thanks to its functional and ergonomic design, the three-stage enabling switch RE 6909 ensures effortless working and offers additional operating and control functions.
