Wireless safety system RE 6900
Maximum mobility with the highest level of safety up to Cat. 4 / PL e or SIL 3
The new wireless safety system RE 6900 from the SAFEMASTER W series is the perfect solution if you want to work safely and reliably in hazardous areas during maintenance or machine setup - with maximum mobility. The wireless enabling switch enables safe operation and prevents the unintentional initiation of dangerous movements, as only an activated centre position of the three-stage switch gives the wireless enable for machine movement. Releasing or pressing the switch interrupts the movement and triggers a safetyrelated shutdown. Thanks to its ergonomic design, the wireless enabling switch f its perfectly in the hand and allows intuitive one-handed operation - with maximum safety up to Cat. 4 / PL e or SIL 3.
The wireless enabling switch is primarily used in robotics for service and maintenance work, while the wireless emergency stop is particularly convincing in large-scale facilities, transport or logistics areas - anywhere where a quick response from a distance is required. With bidirectional wireless communication, motion and shock detection and user authentication via RFID the wireless safety system RE 6900 enables maximum safety and flexibility in everyday industrial use.
- For safety applications up to Cat. 4 / PL e or SIL 3
- Maximum mobility with the highest level of safety
- Ergonomic design for fatigue-free working

Insulation monitor RN 5897/011
Insulation monitor with DNV certification
The insulation monitor RN 5897/011 from the VARIMETER IMD series continuously monitor the insulation quality of the supply voltage in shipboard generator grids. This allows insulation faults to be detected at an early stage, preventing failures and increasing operational safety. Typical applications include monitoring the drive of ship propellers, but also subordinate systems such as pumps or other technical units. The device has the necessary DNV approval and thus meet the requirements for the maritime sector.
- For nominal voltages up to AC 1000 V and DC 1500 V (with coupling device)
- Simple parameterisation, monitoring and diagnostics via Modbus RTU
Multifunctional measuring relay MK 9300N
Multifunctional measuring relay with DNV certification
The multifunctional measuring relay MK 9300N from the VARIMETER PRO are used, among other things, to monitor nacelle drives for ship propellers. There, they measure essential electrical variables such as frequency and voltage asymmetry at the starter of the hydraulic pump. Reliable monitoring enables critical conditions to be detected at an early stage, preventing damage to the drive technology and sustainably increasing the availability of the systems. This is particularly important in the maritime sector, as the 360° swivelling nacelle drives for ship propellers have a decisive inf luence on manoeuvrability and precision when steering. The device is DNV-certified and therefore approved for use on ships.
- Min-, Max. value or window monitoring
- Simultaneous monitoring of up to 9 different Parameters
- Large measuring range
Residual current monitor RN 5884
Reliable detection of fault currents
The all-current sensitive residual current monitor RN 5884 from the VARIMETER RCM series reliably detects fault currents in earthed AC/DC networks. It monitors DC, pulsed DC and AC residual currents up to 2 kHz and, with the connection of two current transformers and a Modbus RTU interface, enables flexible integration into modern monitoring systems. The residual current monitor RN 5884 ensures early fault detection, increases system availability and supports preventive fire and system protection measures. Typical areas of application are data centres, building automation and air conditioning and cooling systems.
- Up to 2 current transformers can be connected
- Universally applicable in AC/DC networks
- Simple parameterisation, monitoring and diagnostics via Modbus RTU
Hybrid relay RK 3070
Switching of high inductive and capacitive loads
The hybrid relay RK 3070 from the POWERSWITCH series is used to switch inductive or capacitive loads, for example energy-saving and LED lamps or switching power supplies with high inrush currents. A triac switches on at the zero crossing of the AC voltage. The continuous current is then conducted via the parallel-connected relay contact, thereby minimising power loss. This combination allows high inrush currents to be switched without contact bounce or arcing. This ensures a significantly longer service life. Typical areas of application are in the automation and process industry as well as in wind turbines.
- Long service life due to hybrid technology
- Space-saving with a width of only 17.5 mm
- Load current up to 20 A
Softstarter PF 9415
Smart engine start-up and protection
Motors used in ventilation systems, pumps and conveyor systems require more power when starting up. In addition, the mechanical load increases significantly during rapid start-up. A softstarter is used to reduce this high starting current and mechanical load. The robust 3-phase controlled softstarter PF 9415 from the MINISTART family is the right choice for the smooth start-up and shutdown of three-phase / asynchronous motors with integrated monitoring functions. The Modbus RTU interface allows also quick installation and commissioning and offers additional monitoring and diagnostic functions.
- Gentle starting and reduced starting current
- Increasing the service life of drives
- Simple parameterisation, monitoring and diagnostics via Modbus RTU
