Safety switch and key transfer system
For rough operating conditions, Dold has developed the safety switch and key transfer system SAFEMASTER STS, a solution that combines the advantages of safety switches, guard locks, key transfer and command functions in a single system. The modular system enables flexible safety solutions tailored to the specific application – whether as a stand-alone unit, a complex system solution, electric, mechanical, wireless or as a hybrid system.
Maximum mobility with the highest level of safety
Do you want to work safely and reliably in hazardous areas when maintaining or setting up machines – with maximum mobility? Then we have the perfect solution for you with the new wireless safety system RE 6900 from the SAFEMASTER W series. The wireless enabling switch enables safe operation and prevents the unintentional initiation of dangerous movements, as only an activated centre position of the three-stage switch gives the wireless enable for machine movement. Releasing or pressing the button interrupts the movement immediately and triggers a safety-related shutdown. Thanks to its ergonomic design, the wireless enabling switch fits perfectly in the hand and allows intuitive one-handed operation – with maximum safety up to Cat. 4 / PL e or SIL 3. Reliable all-pole disconnection
Power Interlocking enables the simple and convenient integration of a switch disconnector. It enables direct, all-pole disconnection and safety-related interlocking of the power supply to machines and plants. The safety system thus protects people when entering a danger zone. Thanks to its simple design, Power Interlocking, in combination with other SAFEMASTER STS modules, provides wireless, purely mechanical protection for safety doors without the need for an additional control level.

The speed and standstill monitors of the SAFEMASTER S series, the insulation monitor RN 5897 from the VARIMETER IMD series, or compact safety switching devices from the SAFEMASTER series, such as the extension module XF 6929, which is only 17.5 mm wide and features front-side contact via cage clamp terminals and a wide voltage range from DC 8 - 36 V.
