With the leading theme „Industrial solutions for connectivity and climate neutrality“, the Hannover Messe from 17 - 21 April 2023 offers an important stage for the technological exchange to reduce the carbon footprint. As a result, efficient energy management is becoming increasingly important.
The energy meter RL 9405 of the VARIMETER PRO series is perfect for this purpose. It is used to measure electrical parameters and energy consumption in 3-phase mains with neutral conductor. Voltages and currents are measured and evaluated continuously. A separate auxiliary voltage is not required. The device provides up to 50 characteristic values of the energy supply and that with a compact width of only 35 mm. The RL 9405 is predestined for use in manufacturing processes and IT data centres, to detect energy saving potentials and is especially suitable for the fulfilment of energy audits (DIN EN 16247-1) or energy management (ISO 50001).
In addition to smart monitoring solutions for particularly critical applications such as medical technology, power plants, transport and charging infrastructure, where a safe power supply is essential, we present the sensorless speed and frequency monitor UH 6937 of the SAFEMASTER S series for the field of safe automation - now new with safety-related monitoring of rotation direction.
In addition to speed monitoring, the UH 6937 also offers safe monitoring of the phase sequence resp. direction of rotation of motors with 3-phase AC voltages. If the motor does not move in the desired direction, the device switches off safely before a hazard occurs. The device allows up to four operating modes for different configuration of overfrequency, underfrequency, window range and direction of rotation. This allows the UH 6937 to show its strengths over frequency inverters with integrated safety functions when simplicity, flexibility and safety are all required.
