As a highlight in the field of electrical safety, we present the battery symmetry monitor UH 9830 from the VARIMETER series. The device monitors battery systems up to DC 1000 V, such as those used in UPS systems, data centres or battery energy storage systems (BESS). The battery symmetry monitor offers a simple way of reliably ensuring the availability of battery systems. Early fault detection can recognise the failure of individual battery/battery packs and prevent costly damage. With its large measuring range, the device is ideal for the ever-increasing requirements in the field of energy storage.
To monitor voltage systems for overvoltage, undervoltage and exceeding of voltage range the DC voltage relay UG 9431 from the VARIMETER series can be used. The galvanically isolated Modbus RTU interface enables simple parameterisation, monitoring and diagnostics. In addition to use in battery systems, the UG 9431 is also predestined for industrial applications with DC voltage ranges up to 1000 V.
In the field of safe automation, we will be presenting further highlights such as speed and standstill monitors from the SAFEMASTER S series, our wireless safety systems from the SAFEMASTER W series and the modular safety switch and key transfer system SAFEMASTER STS.
